Dear Colleague,
We are thrilled to announce that BioMedicine has received its inaugural Impact Factor of 2.5 in 2025! As one of the few open-access journals without Article Processing Charges (APCs), BioMedicine publishes high-quality research across clinical, laboratory, and population health sciences.
We are now launching a Special Issue on Autoimmune Diseases, to be published in December 2026, aiming to showcase innovative research on mechanisms, diagnostics, prevention, and therapies for autoimmune conditions.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
Immune checkpoint dysregulation and autoimmunity
Microbiome alterations and autoimmune disease
Genetic, epigenetic, and proteomic biomarkers
Autoantibodies and pathogenic mechanisms
Novel therapeutics: biologics, small molecules, tolerogenic therapies
Neuroautoimmunity, pediatric autoimmunity, and post-infectious autoimmunity
Systems biology, multi-omics, and computational modeling
Translational, clinical, and population-based studies
